Patrick Folsom District 2

Chairman Patrick Folsom has lived in Brooks County his entire life and has farmed the same land and lineage of livestock as his father and grandfather. He has worked for Norfolk Southern Corporation since 1998, as well as held many positions in the SMART Transportation Union. The SMART Transportation Union has afforded him the opportunity to show his support on Capitol Hill supporting Rail Labor and Transportation Safety. Commissioner Folsom was elected County Commissioner for District 2 in 2018 and is currently serving as Chairman. Commissioner Folsom was appointed to The Chamber of Commerce, ACCG Appointment, Lowndes-Valdosta MPO, and the Regional Commission Board. Commissioner Folsom and his wife, Lisa, are proud to be raising their two sons in this friendly community.
